Machinist – Level 2

Duties Include:

Intermediate programming and editing on Haas controls for CNC Mills and Lathes

Intermediate programming and editing on Fanuc controls and Tsugami Swiss Lathes

Intermediate to Advanced operation of manual machine tools (lathes, mills, and grinders)

Advanced use of calipers, micrometers, and gauging to check parts for quality and accuracy

Ability to use an optical comparator to check part quality and accuracy

Troubleshooting Issues on Machines

Performing offsets and tool changes on CNC machines

Able to read and understand prints and setup sheets

Using various hand tools to prep raw components as needed

Help train entry level and level 1 operators and machinists

Help with part flow though the machine shop and understand assembly shop usage

Perform other related work and special projects as assigned

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 5:30pm

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Must be willing to submit to a drug test and Background check free of Felonies

Must be able to lift 50lb

Effective communication including speaking, writing, and active listening

Being able to learn and take instruction well

Must have good attendance

Must have exceptional attention to detail

Able to sit and stand for long periods of time

Must be able to stay on task and work safely at a standard work pace

Being a good team worker and positive attitude is essential
